“A Las Barricadas” (To the Barricades), was an anthem of the millions of Spanish anarchists who supported the Republic. In it you can hear the voice of the union organizer and farm worker Delmer Berg, the last known survivor of the American volunteers, who died in California in 2016 at the age of 100. He was interviewed by Dan Kaufman, the leader and guitarist of Barbez, the group who play on this album.
